Job Summary

Flavour of Mauritius is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and dependable Dishwasher to support daily kitchen operations by maintaining clean dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen areas. The ideal candidate should be organized, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Keep dishwashing and kitchen areas clean and organized
• Ensure clean dishes and equipment are available for kitchen staff
• Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and preparation duties
• Properly sort and store clean dishes and kitchen supplies
• Remove garbage and maintain clean work areas
• Restock cleaning supplies and kitchen items as needed
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties
• Follow restaurant safety, sanitation, and workplace standards

Requirements

• Previous Dishwasher, kitchen, or restaurant experience preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical duties
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Knowledge of basic kitchen safety and sanitation practices
