Job Summary

German Doner Kebab (GDK) is looking for a dependable, hardworking Night Shift Dishwasher to join our team in Falls Church, Virginia. We are looking for someone who takes pride in keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and ready for the next shift.

The ideal candidate is reliable, works well in a fast-paced restaurant environment, and is willing to help the kitchen team whenever needed.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area.
• Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
• Remove trash and keep kitchen floors and work areas clean.
• Assist with closing duties and ensure the kitchen is ready for the next day.
• Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning and other duties as needed.
• Follow all restaurant health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Ability to work evening and late-night closing shifts.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift typical kitchen supplies.
• Previous restaurant or dishwasher experience is a plus, but not required.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
