Dishwasher

New American restaurant in midtown Manhattan seeking dishwashers.

Candidates should have experience working in a fast paced environment, hard-working, with positive attitude and good communication skills. We have a great team and we are looking for someone who will be a great addition.

DISHWASHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Uses all chemicals properly in the correct quantities for safety and cost control.
  -Assists the other kitchen staff members with pressure point relief during the shift as needed.
• Assists with line maintenance, sweeping and clearing dirty dishes.
• Cleans and maintains kitchen and dish areas, floors, walls and drains.
• Cleans and maintains bathrooms.
• Assists in the maintenance of kitchen storage areas, cleanliness and stocking.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and sorts all dishware, flatware and prep equipment.
• Cleans and maintain restaurant floors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Physical Setting:

• Fine dining restaurant

Experience:

• Dishwashing: 1 year (Preferred)
