Job Summary

Dinner Party is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to support daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining cleanliness, follows food safety procedures, and works well with kitchen staff in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This position helps ensure that clean dishes, utensils, and cookware are always available to support smooth and efficient service.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Operate commercial dishwashing machines safely and efficiently.
• Keep the dishwashing station and surrounding kitchen areas clean and organized.
• Return clean dishes and utensils to their designated storage areas.
• Remove trash and assist with routine kitchen cleaning.
• Restock cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when items run low.
• Support cooks and other kitchen staff during busy service periods.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Assist with opening and closing cleaning duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing or restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene.
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle routine kitchen supplies.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Duties

• Maintain a steady supply of clean dishes throughout service.
• Clean sinks, counters, floors, and dishwashing equipment.
• Separate clean and dirty items properly.
• Dispose of waste according to restaurant procedures.
• Assist with basic kitchen support tasks when needed.
