Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing excellent service to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors regularly.
• Assist in food preparation by washing vegetables and preparing ingredients as needed.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
• Dispose of waste materials in accordance with health regulations.
• Support kitchen staff with any additional tasks as required to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Skills

• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining hygiene standards.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Experience in food preparation or cooking is beneficial for supporting kitchen operations.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with other staff members in a hospitality setting.
