Dishwasher

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly Team member to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. A Dishwasher is an hourly team member position report to Sous chef. The dishwasher provides assistance to the kitchen staff in maintaining the smooth operations of guest service in the restaurant. Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment’s.

Duties

• Maintain and strictly abide by state sanitation / health regulations and company standards
• Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision
• Inspect cleanliness and organization of line workstations , rectify deficiencies and maintain throughout the shift
• Retrieve dirty dishes from the line , counter or from server assistants
• Sort dirty dishes into racks
• Place rack through dishwasher system , following safety precautions and standards
• Sorts and shelves clean dishes per company standards
• Communicates in an impactful and meaningful way with team members and maintain respectful work environment
• Assist in maintaining a positive dining experience through effective guest relations

Requirements

• Previous dishwasher experience preferred
• Ability to handle multitask while maintaining company standards
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to handle Team members concerns positively & professionally
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
