The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dishwashing area, kitchen, and designated workspaces.
• Properly handle and store clean dishes, glassware, and kitchen equipment.
• Remove trash, break down boxes, and maintain clean waste disposal areas.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation and other tasks as needed.
• Keep floors clean and dry to ensure a safe working environment.
• Monitor dishwashing supplies and notify management when restocking is needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain efficient restaurant operations.

Qualifications

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work a consistent full-time schedule.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40–50 pounds as needed.
• Willingness to follow instructions and maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Previous restaurant or dishwashing experience is preferred but not required.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
