Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools promptly and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables
• Assist with organizing and storing clean items in designated areas for easy access by kitchen staff
• Follow health and safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food handling standards are met
• Support the kitchen team by assisting with light food preparation tasks when needed
• Monitor dishwashing equipment for proper functioning and report any maintenance issues immediately
• Uphold a positive attitude while working quickly in a fast-paced environment to meet service demands

Experience

• Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with kitchen operations, food handling, or food service experience is advantageous
• Basic understanding of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards in food environments
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm
• Strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness standards are consistently maintained
