Position Summary

The Dishwasher is an important member of the Tideline Resort & Spa Food & Beverage team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the dishwashing area. This position ensures that dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are clean and readily available to support smooth and efficient service.

The Dishwasher supports daily kitchen operations by following established sanitation standards, maintaining a safe and organized work environment, and working closely with culinary and stewarding team members to ensure a seamless operation.

Essential Responsibilities

· Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and service-ready dishwashing area throughout each shift.

· Operate dishwashing and sanitation equipment according to established procedures.

· Sort and store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment in their designated locations.

· Remove trash and recycling and maintain cleanliness in designated kitchen areas.

· Follow all food safety, sanitation, and chemical-handling procedures.

· Monitor dishwashing supplies and report shortages or equipment issues to a supervisor.

· Assist culinary and stewarding team members as needed to maintain smooth kitchen operations.

· Promptly report spills, accidents, damaged equipment, or unsafe conditions to management.

· Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills

· Previous dishwashing, stewarding, or kitchen experience preferred.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and support the team during busy service periods.

· Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety.

· Ability to follow instructions and established sanitation procedures.

· Dependable, punctual, adaptable, and committed to teamwork.

· Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak resort periods.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to heat, water, and cleaning products.

A clean and organized kitchen is essential to delivering consistent food quality and service. Dishwashers are expected to take pride in their work and contribute to the high standards of a luxury resort environment.

Safety, Security & Food Handling

Associates are expected to follow all Tideline Resort & Spa safety, sanitation, security, and food-handling policies and procedures. This includes proper handling of hot water, cleaning chemicals, glassware, and equipment; safe lifting techniques; and prompt reporting of spills, accidents, equipment concerns, or unsafe conditions. All guest, employee, financial, and resort information must be treated with appropriate confidentiality.

Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
