Job Summary

Owyhee Tavern is seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to support its kitchen team. This role is essential to maintaining clean dishes, sanitized equipment, and an organized kitchen throughout busy restaurant shifts. The ideal candidate takes pride in cleanliness, works efficiently, and contributes to a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Keep dishwashing stations, kitchen surfaces, and floors clean and organized.
• Remove food waste and dispose of trash according to sanitation procedures.
• Restock clean dishes and supplies for kitchen and service staff.
• Assist with unloading deliveries and organizing kitchen supplies when needed.
• Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning and other assigned tasks.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing or restaurant experience is preferred but not always required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies when necessary.
• Availability for day, evening, weekend, or holiday shifts as scheduled.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 per week
