Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly.
• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing station, ensuring all tools and supplies are stocked and accessible.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting chefs and kitchen staff in basic food handling and prep activities.
• Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas remain tidy during service hours.
• Follow proper cleaning procedures to uphold health and safety standards across all food service areas.
• Help with catering setup and breakdown for events or banquets, ensuring all items are cleaned and stored correctly afterward.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods while maintaining a positive attitude.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Familiarity with kitchen operations such as bussing, food handling, or basic food preparation is advantageous.
• Experience working in banquet settings or catering environments can be a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety standards related to food service is beneficial.
• Prior hospitality or hotel experience can enhance your understanding of guest-focused service environments.
