About the Role

Our Dishwashers help keep the kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly by washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Dishwashers also assist with basic food preparation, stocking, and general kitchen cleaning while following food safety procedures and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and cooking equipment using machine and manual methods.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dishwashing area.
• Return clean dishes, utensils, and equipment to their designated storage areas.
• Assist with general kitchen cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
• Properly dispose of trash and follow recycling procedures.
• Assist with basic food preparation, including chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling simple dishes as directed.
• Keep prep stations stocked, clean, and ready for service.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Promptly report equipment problems, safety hazards, or supply needs to management.
• Work closely with kitchen staff to support efficient service.
• Assist with additional kitchen and restaurant duties as needed to support daily operations.

What We're Looking For:

• Prior kitchen or restaurant experience is a plus but is not required.
• Dependable, punctual, and ready to contribute as part of a team.
• Ability to work efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Comfortable assisting with basic food preparation tasks.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices, or willingness to learn.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid Food Handler Card as required by applicable law.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently bend, reach, stoop, lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds, with assistance when appropriate. Must be able to safely perform hands-on restaurant duties in a fast-paced environment that may include hot equipment, sharp utensils, wet or slippery surfaces, noise, steam, and changing temperatures, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay: $17.50 per hour
