About the role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join the kitchen team at GLORY RICH RISE LIMITED. This is a full-time position based in Kwun Tong District. As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our kitchen operations, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitised. This position is essential to the smooth functioning of our food service operations and directly contributes to the quality of service we provide to our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Operating commercial dishwashing machines and hand-washing stations to clean dishes, glasses, cutlery, and kitchen equipment
• Sorting and organising soiled items before washing to ensure efficient processing
• Inspecting cleaned items for quality and spotlessness, re-washing where necessary
• Maintaining proper chemical levels and sanitation procedures in accordance with food hygiene regulations
• Keeping the dish pit area clean, organised and free from clutter
• Assisting with general kitchen cleaning tasks and maintenance of kitchen areas
• Stacking and storing clean dishes and equipment in appropriate locations
• Reporting any equipment issues or maintenance concerns to management
• Following all health and safety protocols and food safety standards

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Dishwasher or in a similar kitchen support role is preferred but not essential
• Physical ability to lift, carry and move items regularly, and to stand for extended periods
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong work ethic and reliability, with a punctual attendance record
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices, or willingness to learn
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
