Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Keep dishwashing stations clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Sort and return clean dishes and utensils to their designated storage areas.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and food preparation tasks when needed.
• Clean floors, counters, sinks, and other kitchen surfaces throughout the shift.
• Remove trash and recycling according to restaurant procedures.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when restocking is needed.
• Assist with opening and closing duties to keep the kitchen ready for service.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwasher or restaurant experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and attention to cleanliness.
• Willingness to follow instructions and established sanitation procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift routine kitchen supplies.
• Positive attitude and dependable attendance.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
