Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, plates, glasses, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and according to established procedures.
• Sort, organize, and return clean dishes and equipment to designated storage areas.
• Remove food scraps and dispose of waste according to kitchen guidelines.
• Keep dishwashing stations, kitchen floors, and surrounding work areas clean.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and food preparation tasks when needed.
• Replenish dishwashing supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene procedures.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment according to safety instructions.
• Help maintain an organized kitchen throughout busy service periods.
• Assist with opening, closing, and general cleaning duties as assigned.
• Coordinate with cooks and other team members to keep kitchen operations running smoothly.
