Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment, creating a safe and efficient environment for food preparation and service.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by regularly cleaning workstations, floors, and surfaces to uphold sanitation standards.
• Follow proper manual handling techniques when lifting heavy items such as large pots or bulk supplies to prevent injury.
• Adhere strictly to kitchen health and safety standards, including proper food handling and sanitation protocols.

Skills

• Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation standards within a restaurant environment is helpful but not required.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with care.
• Ability to work as a team member, efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
