Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to uphold hygiene standards.
• Assist with bussing tables and clearing plates during service to ensure smooth dining operations.
• Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping or ingredient organization under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste regularly.
• Help with catering and banquet setups by organizing serving ware and ensuring all items are ready for events.
• Follow food handling safety protocols diligently to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with culinary staff to ensure timely availability of clean dishes and utensils for meal service.

Skills

• Strong understanding of cleaning procedures and food safety standards.
• Experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, or catering is highly desirable.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of basic food handling, kitchen safety practices, and sanitation procedures.
