Job Overview

As a Dishwasher, you’ll keep the kitchen moving by cleaning and sanitizing dishes, cookware, and work areas. You’ll support cooks and service staff with dependable dishwashing and kitchen tasks while following food safety and kitchen health and safety standards. This active role involves standing, manual handling, and lifting kitchen items.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and food preparation equipment using approved procedures.
• Operate dishwashing and other kitchen equipment safely; keep dish areas, floors, and work surfaces clean and organized.
• Sort and bus dishes from dining and service areas, and assist with basic food preparation and food handling as directed.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and food safety sanitizing procedures; store clean items appropriately and report equipment or safety concerns.
• Your impact: Clean, sanitized equipment helps kitchen teams prepare and serve food safely and helps guests enjoy a clean dining experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle routine physical work, including standing, manual handling, and lifting kitchen supplies and equipment.
• Understanding of cleaning practices, sanitation, food handling, and kitchen health and safety standards; willingness to follow established procedures.
• Food service, restaurant, kitchen, or hospitality experience is helpful but not required.
• Experience with dishwashing, bussing, food preparation, or operating kitchen equipment is an asset.
• Banquet, catering, or culinary experience, knife skills, and food safety management knowledge are preferred.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
