The Role: Dishwasher

Giorgios Hospitality Group is seeking reliable, hardworking Dishwashers to join the back-of-house team at one of our Wilmington concepts. This role is the backbone of a smooth-running kitchen and a great entry point for someone looking to build a career in hospitality.

Recommended Experience

• No prior experience required; kitchen or restaurant experience a plus
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to cleanliness
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or carry kitchenware and supplies

Expectations

• Keep pace with the flow of service so cooks and servers always have clean dishes, glassware, and equipment
• Take pride in cleanliness and sanitation in every part of the kitchen
• Communicate clearly and work well as part of a team
• Show up on time, ready to work, and willing to pitch in wherever needed

General Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Operate and maintain the dish machine according to safety and sanitation guidelines
• Keep the dish area clean, organized, and free of hazards throughout each shift
• Sweep, mop, and clean kitchen floors, mats, and back-of-house areas
• Handle trash, recycling, and deliveries, and assist with receiving and stocking as needed
• Support cooks with basic prep tasks and supply restocking when asked
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health code procedures
• Assist with opening and closing cleaning duties as assigned

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive hourly pay - $16.00 to $17.00 per hour
