Duties

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including floors, counters, and equipment.
• Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, supporting cooks and kitchen staff.
• Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes during busy service periods.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and hygiene standards.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen supervisor promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment or food service is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen as needed.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights (up to 30 pounds).
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
