SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS ARE REQUIRED

Duties

• Thoroughly wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper dishwashing techniques and sanitizing procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwasher areas by cleaning workstations, sinks, floors, and storage areas regularly
• Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas remain tidy during service hours as needed
• Follow food safety management standards to ensure proper sanitation and hygiene throughout the kitchen
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including dishwashers, sinks, and other small appliances
• Adhere to all health and safety standards related to sanitation, manual handling, and food safety regulations to promote a safe working environment

Skills

• Experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and sanitation practices
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when moving supplies or heavy dishware
• Strong understanding of kitchen health and safety standards including food safety sanitizing procedures
• Excellent manual handling skills with attention to detail in cleaning routines
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization
