Dishwasher / Kitchen Helper

We are hiring a reliable Dishwasher / Kitchen Helper to support our restaurant kitchen team. This position is responsible for keeping dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen work areas clean, sanitized, organized, and ready for service.

The Dishwasher / Kitchen Helper will also assist with basic food-preparation, stocking, cleaning, and other back-of-house duties as needed. We are looking for someone dependable who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and follow food-safety and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, sanitize, and store dishes, pots, pans, utensils, trays, and kitchen equipment
• Keep the dish area, kitchen floors, sinks, shelves, and work areas clean and organized
• Remove trash, break down boxes, and assist with general kitchen cleaning
• Assist with basic food preparation, such as washing produce, portioning ingredients, and preparing items as directed
• Restock clean dishes, utensils, containers, paper goods, and kitchen supplies
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries when needed
• Follow all sanitation, safety, food-handling, and company procedures
• Communicate respectfully and work cooperatively with the kitchen team
• Complete other kitchen-support duties assigned by the manager

Qualifications

• Previous dishwasher, kitchen, food-prep, cleaning, or restaurant experience is preferred, but training is available for the right candidate
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to report to scheduled shifts
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to [40–50] pounds during the shift
• Ability to follow instructions, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
• Weekend and evening availability is preferred
• Must have reliable transportation to work

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 30.0 per week
