Bilia Eatery is looking for a reliable, hardworking Dishwasher / Kitchen Support team member to join our kitchen.

This position is an important part of keeping our kitchen clean, organized, safe, and ready for service. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well with others, and understands that a clean kitchen is everyone's responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift.
• Complete detailed cleaning of the kitchen, including floors, walls, shelving, sinks, drains, equipment surfaces, and other assigned areas.
• Maintain Bilia Eatery's kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the day.
• Sweep and mop kitchen and service areas as assigned.
• Remove trash, recycling, and cardboard and maintain clean trash areas.
• Clean and maintain floor mats, garbage cans, dish racks, and cleaning equipment.
• Help keep walk-ins, dry storage, and kitchen storage areas clean and organized.
• Assist with opening and closing cleaning responsibilities.
• Complete assigned daily and weekly deep-cleaning projects.
• Assist with minor morning food preparation such as washing produce, peeling, portioning, basic cutting, organizing ingredients, and other simple prep as directed by the kitchen manager or chef.
• Restock kitchen supplies and help the kitchen team stay prepared during service.
• Communicate with cooks and managers when supplies, chemicals, or equipment need attention.
• Follow proper food safety, sanitation, chemical-handling, and workplace safety procedures.
• Help other team members when needed and contribute to a positive, respectful kitchen environment.

At Bilia Eatery, the dishwasher plays an essential role in the success of the kitchen. This position is responsible not only for keeping dishes moving during service, but also for helping maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of our kitchen.

We expect our dishwasher to notice the details—not walk past them. If something is dirty, out of place, or needs attention, we work together to take care of it.

Experience is helpful, but attitude, reliability, teamwork, and willingness to learn are just as important.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
