Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Dishwasher/Loading-Unloading team member to join our catering crew. In this role, you'll be essential in maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment and ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly sanitized and ready for use. Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen tools following food safety sanitizing procedures.
• Load and unload event vehicles, kitchen supplies, dishes, and equipment efficiently to support food preparation and service.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as cleaning produce or organizing ingredients as needed.
• Follow all sanitation standards to ensure a safe and hygienic workspace, including proper manual handling of heavy items.
• Help with general cleaning duties around the kitchen area, including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal.
• Adhere to kitchen health and safety standards while operating equipment and handling food products.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or catering environments is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation practices is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting of supplies or equipment.
• Familiarity with operating basic kitchen equipment such as dishwashers or commercial sinks.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the workplace.
• Good communication skills to work effectively with team members during busy service times.
• Willingness to learn about food handling procedures, kitchen health standards, and food safety protocols.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
