DISHWASHER (PART-TIME, YEAR-ROUND)

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated, reliable, hardworking dishwasher to join our team at The Monument. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This is a critical support role that ensures smooth kitchen operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize all kitchenware, utensils, glassware, and dishes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area, including floors, walls, sinks, and trash bins
• Empty trash and recycle containers and transport waste to disposal areas
• Assist kitchen staff with basic prep work or deliveries when needed
• Properly store clean dishes and utensils in their designated areas
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and PPE
• Support other kitchen operations during busy events by staying flexible and proactive, lift and carry tray racks and boxes Communicate effectively with chefs, servers, and other team members to meet event demands

Qualifications :

• 16 years of age or older required.
• Previous dishwasher or kitchen experience preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Dependable team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help where needed.

Work Environment :

• Most work is performed in a commercial kitchen and concession stand environment with exposure to heat, steam, and cooking equipment.
• The role requires standing for long periods of time.
• Frequent bending, squatting, and stopping.
• Occasional loud noise and crowd presence may occur depending on event activity.
• Ability to consistently lift up to 30lbs.
