Dishwasher/Busser

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher/Busser to join our food service team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment while supporting the overall dining experience. The ideal candidate will have some food service and kitchen experience, with a strong focus on sanitation, safety standards, and teamwork. Duties

• Responsible for dishwashing and ensuring all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized in accordance with health standards.
• Assist in bussing tables and clearing dishes during service to maintain a clean dining area.
• Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and station setup.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas throughout the shift, including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal.
• Follow all sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.

Requirements

• Previous food service or kitchen experience preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
• Knowledge of kitchen health and safety standards, sanitation practices, and food safety protocols.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety procedures.
• Good teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward assisting colleagues and guests.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
