Dishwasher/Busser

We are seeking an efficient, detail-oriented, and reliable Dishwasher/Busser to join our team at . • Shifts: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Days: Tuesday through Sunday
• Status: Part-time

Key Responsibilities

• Dish Management: Promptly wash, sanitize, and properly store all customer glassware, coffee mugs, silverware, plates, and kitchen prep items using our commercial dish station.
• Table Maintenance: Keep the lounge and dining areas immaculate by pre-bussing tables, removing used plates and coffee cups, wiping down surfaces, and clearing debris from the floors.
• Kitchen & Team Support: Maintain cleanliness in the dishwashing area and assist line cooks and baristas by restocking clean dishes, glassware, and cookware to their proper stations.
• Side Work: Perform key opening and closing tasks, including rolling silverware in napkins, wiping down counters, taking out trash, and keeping bathroom and storage spaces stocked and orderly.
• Safety & Sanitation: Adhere closely to health department guidelines and cafe standards for sanitation, food handling, and equipment usage.

Requirements & Skills

• Experience: Previous experience as a dishwasher, busser, or dietary aide in a restaurant or coffee shop environment is preferred, but we are highly motivated to train a reliable candidate with an excellent work ethic!
• Speed & Efficiency: Ability to work quickly, prioritize tasks, and maintain a positive attitude during busy breakfast and lunch coffee rushes.
• Team Collaboration: Strong communication skills and a friendly disposition to coordinate effectively with the kitchen team, baristas, and floor staff.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift dish racks, and handle wet or hot equipment for the duration of a 4-hour shift

Pay: $8.50 - $12.50 per hour
