Dishwasher/Busser

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher/Busser to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for our guests. The ideal candidate will support food service operations by ensuring dishes are properly cleaned, assisting with bussing tables, and contributing to a smooth dining experience. Previous experience in food service, catering, or restaurant settings is preferred but not required. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable hospitality and culinary experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
• Clear and reset tables promptly after guests leave, ensuring a tidy dining area.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic plating or garnishing.
• Support the serving staff by delivering food and beverages to tables when required.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen stations, and service areas through regular cleaning routines.
• Help with catering setup and breakdown for events or banquets as directed.
• Follow all food handling and safety protocols to ensure guest safety and compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations during busy periods.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards assisting colleagues and guests.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or special event shifts as needed.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads (up to 50 pounds), and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
