Dishwasher/Busser

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher/Busser to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized dining environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are sanitized and readily available for staff and guests. The ideal candidate will play a vital part in supporting our restaurant’s operations by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout their shift. Responsibilities

• Responsible for thoroughly cleaning dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to meet sanitation standards.
• Ensure all items are properly sanitized, organized, and stored for easy access by staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces.
• Assist with bussing tables by clearing plates, silverware, and glassware promptly and efficiently.
• Support the overall cleanliness of the dining area by removing trash and debris as needed.
• Follow safety procedures related to sanitation and handling cleaning chemicals.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow.
• Adhere to health department regulations and company policies regarding cleanliness and sanitation.

Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude are essential.
• Basic understanding of sanitation standards and safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals is advantageous.
