Part-Time Dishwasher / Kitchen Cleaner

Collins Farms Cafe – Washington University in St. Louis

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–6:00 PM

Hours: 15 hours per weekPay: Based on experience

Collins Farms Cafe is seeking a dependable, hardworking part-time dishwasher and kitchen cleaner to assist with daily cleaning and closing responsibilities in our high-volume cafe.

Requirements:

• MUST be available Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–6:00 PM.
• MUST be comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Previous restaurant cleaning or dishwashing experience preferred.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Must be comfortable with physically demanding cleaning duties.

Responsibilities:

• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Thoroughly sweep and mop all designated kitchen floors.
• Scrub and clean floors as needed, including corners and hard-to-reach areas.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, countertops, and workstations.
• Empty trash, replace liners, and maintain waste areas.
• Clean sinks, dishwashing stations, and surrounding areas.
• Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment and closing down stations.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, walls, and other designated kitchen areas.
• Complete all assigned end-of-day cleaning and closing duties.
• Ensure the kitchen is thoroughly cleaned, organized, and ready for the following day.

We are looking for someone who is hardworking, efficient, dependable, and takes pride in maintaining an exceptionally clean kitchen.

This position involves hands-on dishwashing, floor mopping, general kitchen cleaning, and end-of-day sanitation. Applicants must be willing and able to perform all cleaning responsibilities.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
