Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and mixing ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and utensils.
• Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.
• Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas as needed.
• Support catering events and banquets by assisting with food setup and service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
• Participate in inventory management by reporting stock levels of ingredients and supplies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere within the hospitality industry.
• Strong attention to detail with respect to cleanliness and food safety practices.
• Willingness to assist with various tasks as needed, including catering events and banquet services.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards helping others.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
