WE’RE HIRING: EXPO / DISHWASHER

We’re looking for an energetic, organized, hard-working person to join our Porch & Pantry crew.

The primary role is dishwashing, but this is definitely not just a dishwasher position. You’ll also work expo, help finish and organize plates, keep the kitchen moving, and learn how everything comes together during a busy brunch service.

MULTITASKING is a must. There will be dishes. There will be plates to finish. There will be five things happening at once. Staying organized and keeping your cool is the name of the game.

What you’ll be doing:

• Washing dishes and keeping the dish area clean and organized
• Working expo and helping organize outgoing orders
• Finishing and garnishing plates to our standards
• Double-checking orders for accuracy and presentation
• Communicating with cooks and servers
• Restocking dishes, supplies and kitchen items throughout service
• Keeping work areas clean and organized
• Helping with prep and other kitchen tasks as needed
• End-of-day cleaning and kitchen breakdown
• Jumping in wherever the team needs help

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, takes initiative, works with a sense of urgency and is eager to learn and grow. Experience is great, but attitude, effort and the willingness to learn matter just as much.

Around here, we all work together. No standing around waiting for someone to tell you what to do.

Starting pay: $13/hour
Raises are performance-based and can happen often. Strong performance, reliability, attendance, initiative and growth get noticed—and rewarded.
