Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Food Prep team member to join our dynamic culinary environment. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized kitchen and supporting food preparation activities to ensure smooth restaurant or catering operations. Ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, food service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.

Duties

• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning foods.
• Support food service operations by bussing tables and ensuring dining areas are tidy.
• Help with basic catering and banquet setup, including organizing supplies and serving stations.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas through regular cleaning routines.
• Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock needs.
• Support the culinary team during busy service times to ensure timely food delivery.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred.
• Experience with food preparation, bussing, or banquet service is a plus.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and basic cooking techniques is advantageous.
• Prior hotel or culinary experience can be beneficial for understanding high standards of cleanliness and service.
• Candidates with a background in food handling, cleaning, or serving roles will find this position aligns well with their skills.
