Responsibilities

• Washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using appropriate cleaning methods
• Assisting with basic food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff
• Ensuring all work areas are kept clean, organised, and hygienic throughout shifts
• Supporting the kitchen team with general cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors
• Restocking supplies and ensuring that dishwashing stations are fully operational at all times
• Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with health and safety standards
• Supporting serving staff during busy periods by helping to clear tables and prepare service areas

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is advantageous but not essential
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
