Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper

We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our bustling restaurant team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong attention to hygiene standards, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. Prior restaurant or food industry experience is a plus but not required, as training will be provided. Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and food safety standards are met.
• Assist with basic meal preparation and food handling tasks as directed by kitchen staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including counters, sinks, and storage spaces.
• Support the food service team by organizing supplies and restocking items as needed.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to uphold health regulations.
• Help with general kitchen duties such as sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to maintain a tidy workspace.
• Assist in serving food when necessary, ensuring timely delivery to guests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cooking, food handling, or restaurant service is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices is advantageous.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude are essential.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation and kitchen operations. Pay: $17.60 per hour
