Job Summary

Ullou Lounge B Town is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, organized and sanitary kitchen while assisting with basic food preparation and daily kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans and kitchen equipment
• Operate and maintain the commercial dishwasher
• Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized and free of hazards
• Assist with basic food preparation, such as washing and cutting vegetables
• Properly store clean dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
• Clean kitchen floors, counters, walls, sinks and other work areas
• Empty garbage and recycling bins and replace liners
• Help receive, organize and store food deliveries
• Follow food-safety, sanitation and workplace-safety procedures
• Inform the kitchen team when ingredients, cleaning products or supplies are running low
• Assist cooks and other kitchen staff as required
• Complete opening, closing and deep-cleaning duties

Requirements

• Previous restaurant or dishwashing experience is preferred, but training can be provided
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
• Available to work evenings, late nights, weekends and holidays
• Ontario Food Handler Certificate is an asset
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
