Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. In this role, you will assist in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring a clean and organized environment while supporting our cooks and chefs in food preparation. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry.

Duties

• Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
• Help cooks with cooking tasks as needed, ensuring that all food is prepared according to safety and quality standards.
• Stock kitchen supplies and assist with inventory management to ensure that all necessary items are available.
• Follow all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food service practices and food handling guidelines is a plus.
• A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn from experienced cooks and chefs will contribute to your success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60 per hour
