Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and readiness for use
• Assist with basic meal preparation and food handling tasks under the supervision of kitchen staff
• Support food service operations by maintaining cleanliness of workstations and dining areas
• Help with inventory management by storing supplies properly and notifying management of stock needs
• Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to uphold health standards
• Assist in setting up kitchen stations for meal service and breaking down stations after shifts
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen workflow and excellent customer service

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or food industry is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to assist others as needed
• Basic cooking skills or experience with meal preparation are advantageous
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform repetitive tasks
• A positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
