We're currently seeking a Part-Time Kitchen Steward to join our culinary team. In addition to a competitive hourly wage, team members also participate in kitchen gratuities, providing additional earning potential. As business levels grow, there may be opportunities for additional hours.

Typical shifts: 4:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Availability required: Some events may require shifts extending as late as 2:00 AM.

What You'll Do

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment while maintaining sanitation and food safety standards.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment on an ongoing basis.
• Organize and properly store clean dishes, pots, pans, and supplies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Clean spills promptly and follow health and safety procedures.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks.
• Support the culinary team in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen operation.

• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Previous commercial kitchen experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of commercial kitchen experience preferred.
• WHMIS certification required (training provided).
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 35-40 lbs.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8-hour shifts).
• Available to work evenings and occasional late-night event shifts.
