About the Position

We are a growing prepared-meal production company looking for a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher / Kitchen Sanitation Team Member to join our kitchen team.

This position is responsible for keeping our commercial kitchen, equipment, utensils, and work areas clean, organized, and sanitary throughout daily production.

The ideal candidate is dependable, works well with a team, follows directions, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, sanitize, and properly store dishes, pots, pans, utensils, trays, and kitchen equipment
• Keep the dishwashing area clean and organized throughout the shift
• Clean and sanitize food-production equipment and work surfaces
• Clean floors, walls, shelving, drains, and other kitchen areas
• Remove trash and recycling
• Properly use and store cleaning chemicals
• Maintain separation between dirty and clean equipment
• Follow established cleaning and sanitation procedures
• Assist the kitchen team with cleaning tasks during and after production
• Complete assigned cleaning tasks thoroughly and on time
• Follow all food-safety and workplace-safety requirements
• Communicate equipment, supply, or sanitation issues to management

Qualifications

• Previous dishwasher, commercial kitchen, food-service, or sanitation experience preferred but not required
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work at a steady pace in a busy kitchen environment
• Able to follow directions and established procedures
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
• Comfortable standing and working for extended periods
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Food-safety experience or certification is a plus

Experience is helpful, but it is not required. We can teach the right person our equipment, procedures, and expectations. Reliability, work ethic, and a willingness to learn are what matter most.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a Tuesday–Saturday daytime schedule. Exact hours will be discussed during the interview process.

Compensation

Compensation will be discussed with qualified candidates during the hiring process.
