Dishwasher/Kitchen Technician

Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand
• Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition
• Stock supplies such as food or utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars
• Sweep or scrub floors
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
• Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment

Skills:

• Food handling: Knowledge of proper food handling and safety procedures
• Hospitality: Ability to provide friendly and efficient service to customers and staff
• Food preparation: Basic understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
• Restaurant experience: Familiarity with working in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Helpfulness: Willingness to assist other team members as needed
• Cleanliness: Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and sanitary work area
• Kitchen organization: Ability to organize dishes and utensils for efficient workflow
• Food service: Understanding of customer service principles in a food service setting
• Cooking skills: Basic cooking skills are a plus for potential advancement opportunities
• Banquet experience: Experience working in banquet settings is desirable
