Dishwasher/Line Cook

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Dishwasher/Prep Cook to support daily kitchen operations and help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient food service environment. This hands-on role combines dishwashing and sanitation with basic food preparation. The ideal candidate is attentive to cleanliness, follows food-safety practices, and works well with a team in a fast-paced setting. Restaurant, kitchen, or other hospitality experience is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Keep dishwashing areas, work surfaces, floors, and storage spaces clean and orderly.
• Assist with food preparation, such as washing and cutting produce, portioning ingredients, and assembling items according to instructions.
• Follow food-handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures.
• Store ingredients and supplies properly and help rotate stock as directed.
• Support cooks and other team members during service while maintaining an organized workspace.
• Complete assigned cleaning and closing tasks.

Skills

• Cleaning skills and a commitment to maintaining a sanitary kitchen.
• Interest or experience in food preparation, cooking, food handling, or food service.
• Restaurant, kitchen, hotel, serving, or broader hospitality experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions, food-safety procedures, and established recipes or preparation guidelines.
• Dependability, attention to detail, and a cooperative approach to teamwork.
• Ability to stay organized and work efficiently in a busy environment.

Pay: $17.95-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
