Dishwasher/Prep Cook

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our team in a dynamic kitchen environment. This dual role is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of our food service, ensuring that both food preparation and cleanliness standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a commitment to providing exceptional hospitality.

Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Assist in food handling and storage, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Support the front-of-house staff by bussing tables and assisting with service as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Follow all food safety guidelines during food preparation and handling.

Skills

• Culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Familiarity with food handling practices in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
• Excellent teamwork skills, with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
• Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
