Brixx Wood Fired Pizza Southern Pines is now hiring passionate, friendly, team-oriented, and professional cooking/prep staff for both morning and evening shifts!

Full Job Description –

Arrive to each shift promptly. Maintain friendly and personable interactions with all guests and co-workers alike. Ensure ingredients and materials are up to date and ready for each shift, checking ingredients for freshness, prepping meals by weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients, arranging and garnishing the dishes. Follow (and memorize) BRIXX menu recipes for each dish. Maintain clean and safe work area according to state code and sanitation standards. Prepare pizzas, pastas, salads, wings, sandwiches, appetizers, desserts, etc. Collaborate with serving and bar staff to efficiently complete and deliver orders. Assist other team-members when needed. Working well under pressure and within the time limit. Help lead and inspire our kitchen staff. End of serving shift prep - including (but is not limited to), stock inventory, cut romaine, cut and prepare meats, prepare vegetables, organizing seasonings, dividing toppings, labeling foods. Clean station following each shift.

-Effective communicator/interpersonal skills to interact with a variety of other people, such as waitstaff, dishwashers, management and sometimes costumers.

-Maintains personal hygiene and presents himself/herself in professional manor.

-Comprehension and organization to follow direct orders and recipes and to correctly prepare dishes to the standards of the restaurant.

-Ability to work as part of a team, collaborating on complex dishes.

-Ability to stand in one place for hours at a time, handle extreme heat and work shifts.

-Eager to work 4+ days / weekly.

-Culinary school education is a plus

-High school diploma or equivalent preferred

***This position is ideal for individuals looking for part-time job work between 20-39 hours / weekly. Weekend and Occasional Holiday Availability Required***

Supplemental Pay:

· $13-15 / hourly depending on level of experience, education, special qualifications, and memorization of BRIXX menu.
