Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools following food safety sanitizing procedures.
• Support food preparation tasks by assisting with basic kitchen duties as needed.
• Assist with bussing tables and clearing dishes to maintain cleanliness in dining areas.
• Operate dishwashing and other kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies or equipment with proper technique.
• Follow all sanitation standards to ensure compliance with food safety management regulations.
• Maintain a clean work environment by regularly cleaning dishwashing stations and storage areas.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dishwashing or general kitchen work is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food handling and sanitation procedures is a plus.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely.
• Familiarity with operating basic kitchen equipment such as commercial dishwashers is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness standards are met consistently.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
• Willingness to learn about food safety standards and kitchen health & safety protocols.

Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
