Dishwashing Technician

Job Summary

Duties

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by regularly cleaning work areas, floors, and equipment.
• Assist with food preparation as needed to support cooks and other kitchen staff.
• Properly handle food items according to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to ensure a pleasant experience for guests.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours.
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of food handling practices is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen.
• Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as required by the job.
