Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dismantler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently disassembling equipment and machinery, ensuring all parts are removed accurately for recycling, resale, or disposal. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with various hand and power tools. The position offers an opportunity to develop technical skills in a dynamic environment dedicated to sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble machinery and equipment using appropriate hand tools and power tools
• Follow safety protocols and procedures during dismantling processes
• Remove and organize parts for inventory or disposal purposes
• Inspect components for damage or wear and report findings to supervisors
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency
• Assist with the loading and unloading of dismantled parts as needed
• Adhere to project timelines and quality standards throughout the dismantling process

Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with disassembly procedures
• Experience using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
• Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks
• Prior experience in dismantling, recycling, or related fields is a plus but not required
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Must have own basic tools

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
