Dispatch & Maintenance Technician (Full-Time, AM Shift), Rad Cab / Rad Towing, Tri-Cities, WA

Rad Cab and Rad Towing are busy taxi, courier, rental and towing businesses in the Tri-Cities. We're hiring a mechanically minded, dependable person for a hybrid role. You'll run dispatch for the first part of the morning shift, then move into hands-on vehicle maintenance and utility work for the rest of the day. If you know your way around a car, like variety, and can stay calm on the phones, this job is for you.

What you'll do

Dispatch (first part of the shift)

• Answer calls and dispatch taxi, courier and tow requests.
• Handle Turo guest messages, airport drop-offs and lockbox codes.
• Keep drivers on schedule and pass a clean written handoff to the next shift.

Maintenance and utility (rest of the shift)

• Clean and detail cab, rental and lot vehicles.
• Do basic service: oil changes, fluids, tire pressure, tire mounting, bulbs, wipers and batteries.
• Track and report vehicle damage and maintenance needs.
• Clean out Rad Towing auction cars and remove their plates.
• Help with light roadside service calls such as jump starts, lockouts and tire changes.
• Learn basic key services (training provided).
• Pitch in on shop, lot and building upkeep.

What we're looking for

• Mechanical experience. Automotive repair or service background strongly preferred.
• Clear phone and computer skills. Dispatch experience is a plus.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Reliability, punctuality and the ability to switch between tasks.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather.

Pay and schedule

• $20–$25 per hour depending on experience.
• Full-time, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
