Dispatch Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily dispatch schedules and delivery routes
• Assign drivers, vehicles, and deliveries based on operational needs
• Monitor shipments and provide updates on delivery status
• Communicate with drivers, customers, suppliers, and internal teams
• Track pickups, deliveries, delays, and schedule changes
• Respond quickly to operational issues and help resolve delays
• Maintain accurate dispatch, shipment, and delivery records
• Enter and update information in transportation or logistics systems
• Prepare daily reports and operational documentation
• Support efficient routing and resource allocation
• Follow company safety, transportation, and operational procedures

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, shipping, or coordination is an asset
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and computer-based systems
• Ability to work effectively with drivers and internal teams
• Bilingual French and English is an asset
