DISPATCH EXECUTIVE (WAREHOUSE)

JOB DESCRIPTION – DISPATCH EXECUTIVE (WAREHOUSE)

JOB SUMMARY

The Dispatch Executive will be responsible for collecting finished goods from production plants, maintaining inventory accuracy between physical stock and ERP/SAP records, and ensuring timely dispatch of materials as per the approved dispatch plan.

The role requires close coordination with Production, Stores, Logistics, and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth warehouse and dispatch operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Finished Goods (FG) Management

• Collect finished goods from production plants and transfer them to the warehouse.
• Ensure physical receipt of materials matches production transfer documents.
• Verify quantity, part number, batch details, and packaging before acceptance.
• Maintain proper storage and identification of finished goods.

2. Inventory Control

• Ensure physical stock matches ERP/SAP inventory records at all times.
• Perform daily stock verification and reconciliation.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock movement transactions.

3. Dispatch Planning & Execution

• Execute dispatches as per approved daily dispatch plans.
• Ensure timely picking, packing, loading, and dispatch of materials.
• Verify dispatch quantities and customer requirements before shipment.
• Coordinate with transporters for vehicle placement and dispatch schedules.

4. Documentation & System Transactions

• Prepare dispatch documents, delivery challans, packing lists, and transport documents.
• Update dispatch transactions in ERP/SAP accurately and on time.
• Maintain dispatch records and shipment tracking details.

5. Warehouse Operations

• Ensure proper material handling and storage practices.
• Monitor warehouse housekeeping and safety compliance.
• Support cycle counting and physical stock audits.
• Coordinate with Production and Planning teams for material movement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate in Commerce, Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related discipline.
• Diploma/Certification in Warehouse or Logistics Management will be an added advantage.

EXPERIENCE

• 2–5 years of experience in Warehouse, Dispatch, Logistics, or Inventory Management.
• Experience in Manufacturing, Engineering Components, Electrical Products, Forging, Auto Components, or Industrial Products preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹400,000.00 per year
